Steve Coll is the President and CEO of the New America Foundation and a prominent staff writer for The New Yorker. With two decades of experience as a foreign correspondent and senior editor at The Washington Post, he served as the paper's managing editor from 1998 to 2004. Coll is the author of six acclaimed books, including *The Deal of the Century*, *The Taking of Getty Oil*, *Ghost Wars*, and *The Bin Ladens*.
